HULL
 
A) One off : depending of the size of the model, strip planking on plywood frames , epoxy impregnated for perfect dimensional stability.
B) Multiple: according to the dimensions and the number of pieces, either in glass /epoxy in a female mould or high density polyurethane resin in elastomere mould.
High gloss acrylic or polyurethane (2packs) paint and varnish.
 
 
SUPERSTRUCTURES
 
Wood / epoxy, polyurethane, or any synthetic material.
Deck in natural wood.
Glass panels, windscreens, etc : tinted Perspex, flat or thermo formed on custom made mould.
 
 
DECK FITTINGS AND HARDWARE
 
Stanchions and pulpits made of stainless steel tubing.
Winches : turned duralumin, polished or chrome plated.
Custom and special pieces : cast in bronze (lost wax process) and chrome plated.
Block flanges, portholes, tracks, window frames, etc : photo©etched nickel silver.
 
 
RIGGING
 
Standing rigging : stainless cable or stainless bar (rod)
Running rigging : plait Dacron or silk.
 
 
PRESENTATION
 
On a wooden base, varnished or lacquered with metal fittings ( brass or chrome plated )
Polished metal plaque, engraved with name, dates, architect, builder.
Display case : glued Perspex museum quality.

Drawings, plans etc. given to us for the building of a model remain the property of the Designer, and therefore are treated as strictly confidential.
With the signature of a Secrecy agreement, we assure the designer not to disclose any of the information to any person or any company.
